Jennifer Schroeder, OTD

I am an associate professor in the occupational therapy program. In this position, my teaching focus includes anatomy and kinesiology, adult-based practice courses, productive aging, and community-based level fieldwork with older adults. I also serve as a research preceptor, focusing on older adults. I am a faculty mentor for student doctoral capstone experiences. I am a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the North Dakota Occupational Therapy Association. I contribute to the community with local presentations and have presented regionally and nationally on topics surrounding my research.
Why I’m At MaryI appreciate working in a faith based university focused on Benedictine values. These values allow me to serve my students in many capacities with emphasis on the moral character and development of a professional with solid ethics and care and compassion for others.
Expertise
I practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient acute care, inpatient rehab, and home health care serving patients with varying complexity and diagnoses. In addition, I was the clinical coordinator of my department.
