University of Mary Hosts Annual Veterans Day Chapel Service and Luncheon Honoring North Dakota’s Heroes

Complimentary lunch provided afterward to all active duty and retired military

Bismarck, N.D. — The University of Mary is proud to honor those who serve America by inviting all current and former military and veterans to the annual Veterans Day Chapel Service and complimentary lunch on Veterans Day. Mary is honoring all current and former military personnel Monday, November 11, at 10 a.m. in Founders Hall at the Lumen Vitae University Center (LVUC) on campus.

The hour-long ceremony, also open to the public and media, will feature music, prayer, and a keynote presentation by Brigadier General Jackie Huber, a distinguished leader in the North Dakota National Guard. With over 30 years of military service, Brigadier General Huber currently serves as the Deputy Adjutant General, overseeing the operations of the North Dakota Army and Air National Guard.

Following the service, honorees will be guided along a small parade route to the Scheels Crow’s Nest restaurant, where they’ll be welcomed to a complimentary lunch in appreciation for their service. American flags will line Sageway path outside the west side of campus, adding a patriotic tribute to the day’s festivities.

The University of Mary is proud to honor America’s veterans, welcoming North Dakotans to participate in this meaningful event that celebrates and recognizes the dedication and sacrifice of those who have served. Complimentary lunch is offered to all attending veterans and active service members.
