Open to all University of Mary students who love to sing, Concert Choir meets Monday through Friday at 11 am and performs a wide variety of high-quality choral literature at many events on and off campus, including the annual production of Christmas at Mary. Directed by Rebecca Raber, recent programs have included choral masterworks such as Sainte Chapelle by Eric Whitacre, Magnificat by Arvo Pärt, Tota pulchra es by Ola Gjeilo, Regina coeli by W.A. Mozart, and Requiem by Gabriel Fauré. Recent tours include North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Illinois, Spain, France, Austria, and Italy.

Register for MUS 212; audition not required. Students in all programs of study are encouraged to sing in Concert Choir. Spending time pursuing beauty, truth, and goodness in community with others dramatically enhances your university experience!

Like exercise, singing releases endorphins, reduces stress, and promotes a good mood. And of all types of singing, choral singing has the most dramatic effects on people's lives. Here at Mary you will have the opportunity to sing in a variety of styles from chant to classics to contemporary, and build lasting friendships while crafting beautiful music. Welcome to choir at Mary!
